The death is announced of Gordon Monteram , also known as “Sookan” (Soo- Kan)   of Paraclete St. Andrew, who passed away on Friday 28th November 2025 at the age of 75.

He was the Father of: Carlene Townsend in the U.S.A and Trevolyn Baptiste.

He was the GrandFather of many including Jordan, Kenisha, Kareem, Tahira, Asanna, Kershauna and Reshaun.

Great Grand Father of 18

He was the brother of: Frank, Dennis, Peter, Bernard, Layne, Joseph, Gordon Fiendley, Laslyn, Kathleen, Editha, Glenda and Yvette.

He weas the Uncle of: Runako, Kendel, Ista, Kern, Bunny, Emmette, Staceyann, Will and Pearl Quashie.

Many other relatives , neighbours and friends of Paraclete including The Modeste Family of Soubise, The Waldron Family of Paraclete, The Monteram Family of Constantine and all the boys in the back.

Funeral arrangements of the late Gordon Monteram also known as “Sookan ” will take place on Friday 19th December 2025 at 2 pm at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, Paraclete St. Andrew and Interment at Mt. Horne Cemetery .
