We announce, with deep sadness, the passing of Paul Jerome Flanders, who departed this life on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the age of 98.

A longtime resident of Conference, St. Andrews, and formerly of the United Kingdom, Paul lived a life filled with devotion to his family, quiet strength, and enduring love.

Paul was a cherished father, husband, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend. He is survived by his second wife, Fredericka.

Left to cherish his memory are;

His children: Maria, Anastasia, Eric, Christine, Elizabeth, and James, residing in the UK.

Paul was a proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren across the globe, including

Melissa in Canada, Andy in Grenada, and in the UK: Bianca, Tia, Stefan, Mya, Serenna, Melissa, Jade, Nathan, Jermaine, Amber, and Sabrina.

He was also blessed with 7 great-grandchildren: Jodi, Elijah, and Isaiah in Canada, and in the UK: Cayden , Amora, Leo, and Zaila. 

His sister-in-law :Joy Joseph resides in the UK.

Also left to mourn are his sons- and daughters-in-law: Trevor, Karen, Sarah, and Lance.

Paul was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, whose lives he touched with kindness and wisdom. These include:

Nieces: Isabelle, Prisca, Julia, Joan, Debbie, Alma, Teresa, Gillian, Una, Virginia, Margaret, Demelza, Denise, Sheryl, Sharon and Sandra.

Nephews: Benedict, Roderick, Patrick, Rodney, Winston, Andrew, Ian, Lennox, Dennis, DeCosta and Kellon.

He leaves behind many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends, including Gemma, Martin and Enoch.

We also extend our appreciation to the priests and members of the Tivoli and Moyah Roman Catholic Churches.

The funeral of the late Paul Flanders, affectionately known as Jerome, will be held on Thursday, 4 September 2025, at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Tivoli, St. Andrew, at 2:00 PM (Tributes begin at 1:00 PM).

Interment will follow at Tivoli Cemetery.
